Never Hire a Collection Agency That Charges You Before They Collect Your Overdue Receivables

If a law firm bills their client a retainer fee and/or hourly rate, to file suit against a debtor, and ultimately obtain a judgment in the creditor’s favor, why would they be motivated to collect on the judgment if they have already billed their client all along?

The Defendant Manny Beri (landlord) wrongly withhold the Plaintiff (tenant) for security deposit. It went through NJ Middlesex Superior court in... December 2021 with docket No. SC-452-21. The court judge ordered the Defendant to pay $ 525.50 back to the Plaintiff. The Defendant does not respond the calls, text messages, and Emails.the Plaintiff reached out to TGA in last November by Emails, immediately, TGA responded they are going to send out a demand letter and it was agreed that once the payment is received, TGA will charge 35% of it. After 2-3 months, the Plaintiff has not received TGA's any notification, and TGA does not respond the Plaintiff's Emails. It results to the Plaintiff is not able to file it to another debtor collector due to being not aware of if TGA ever received payment or not from the Defendant.read more

VERY HARD TO FIND A GOOD COLLECTIONS COMPANYWe have struggled for years to find a good collections company for our self storage business. I won't... get into all the stories but the performance we have had in the past has been quite bleak to say the least. One Friday afternoon I left a message for TGA just for giggles, I half expected them to even call back based on my past 'shopping' experiences.
